J'adore.

French for "I adore," Adora apparently is not a brand per se, but a store name, like Crossings or Rustan's U. This new store in Greenbelt 5 carries several brands of various merchandise including clothes, swimwear, shoes, eyewear, bed and bath, perfume, luggage, etc. They carry the brand Tyler as well. They have 3 floors, one of which is still under construction. It's like Rustan's except that the place itself looks very modern and stylish that it tends to look more like a store than a department store.

Adora also has a cafe and a mirror-walled bathroom. The toilet stalls had mirrors as walls, that I could literally watch myself pee in four angles. LOL. One may think that the items are probably expensive, like Theodore's in High Street - once you step in, you know that all items are above 10k. Surprisingly, there are affordable but great items in Adora. I bought a pair of black skinny jeans for only P2,700 and a nice v-neck knit for P1,200. Although some brands are pretty unheard of, no one really minds as long as they're very stylish, affordable and not "brand-screaming."

I was very impressed by the service and the staff. I'm not sure if there was a cashier counter, but payment was like personal service as if I were waiting for my bill in a restaurant. The store hasn't officially been launched or opened yet, but people have already been talking about it. No wonder.
