Ever heard of Do Your Own custom couture? I've always dreamed of having an online store for swimwear, where you can mix and match tops and bottoms, customize the style, fabric and fit - then checkout and have your swimsuit delivered hot and fresh at your doorstep. (Nobody better copy my idea!) Anyway, I chanced upon this website which does the exact same thing I had in mind, except that they do dresses - I LOVE IT!!!
Studio 28 Couture offers customized dresses where you can 1) choose your bodice - I chose the Carrie Halter Top; 2) select the skirt - the Cocktail Party Skirt with Ruffles was perfect as it's short and flirty; 3) choose among the many dress fabrics - I had a hard time choosing, but I ended up with the Passion Vine Pink and finally 4) selecting the trim fabric - if you chose a dress with ruffles at the hemline, which in my case I chose Honey Dew.
The dress cost $200 by the way so I didn't proceed to checkout and just played mix and match with the website. Lol.
