My Furniture Construction class meets only once a week for about 6 hours. On our third class, I was able to make my own "tenon and mortis" - with the help of my professor of course. WoWoWee!! :) Brad is one of my teachers in class. He's kinda cute but I thought he was gay until he talked about his wife in class. Hehe.
Anyways, although this looks easy, believe me it's so not! This started out as a huge flat wood which we had to cut into pieces, mill, sand, glue and put together. I used a total of 6 saw machines - really scary huge saw machines - just to do this small plank with one leg. Cool huh? By the end of the semester I'm supposed to make my own table or bench.
