The final five.

Lo and behold... the final 5 designers of Project Runway Season 4. Apparently, our local cable channel is pretty updated in the show. I caught some of the early episodes when I was in the States a few months back, and when I got here I was glad to find out that ETC had it in its season's lineups, including Gossip Girl. (Btw, Heroes season 2's first few episodes sucked.)



Anyhoo, five designers - believe it or not - made it to Bryant Park in New York's Fashion Week last Feb.9. They were Sweet P, Chris (yes, he came back the show after he got auf'd), Jillian, Rami, and Christian. Who won? Well, Bravo TV is still at its 10th episode, so I will not totally spoil everything. The finale with Victoria Beckham as guest judge, will be shown on Feb.27, which we will probably be able to watch by summer time.





My personal favorite - Rami's collection. Bee-yoo-tee-fool!!! Well apparently, this Jerusalem-native has dressed the likes of Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, Tyra Banks, and other known celebs. Heller. Why did he even join this show?! Next is Christian then Jillian, then it goes downhill from Sweet P to Chris. Lol. Rami's collection was very elegant and feminine, fashionable and flirty - definitely something I would wear. Christian's pieces were very muted in their black and nude palettes, and had a lot of feather and ruffle accents going on. Although there wasn't a single color in his collection, I loved most of the pieces he made. I just found it a bit dark and serious, and too woman-ly (if there is such a word). Pero it was really nice. Jillian had a few pieces that I loved, while some seemed to look superhero-ish and the rest weren't as cohesive. Sweet P and Chris... I'm just not feeling their collection. They should've auf'd these two and had the usual 3 finalists for Bryant Park.





Then again, this is purely based on my taste. They say Christian was the crowd favorite and Jillian was close behind. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.
